About Strong Women in Christ
Strong Women in Christ (SWIC) is a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry dedicated to uplifting women, children, families, and seniors through faith, love, and service. We believe that when a woman is strengthened in Christ, her home, family, and community are transformed.
Through prayer, mentorship, outreach, and practical support, we create safe spaces where women can heal, grow, and walk boldly in their God-given purpose.
Our Story: Birthed by God, Revived in a Time of Need
Strong Women in Christ was birthed from a divine mandate and later rebirthed in August 2021, during one of the most challenging seasons of our time—the COVID-19 pandemic.
The foundation of this ministry was laid when Apostle Demetrius Shephard charged Prophetess Rosett Eady with overseeing a movement dedicated to teaching women how to pray. Prophetess Eady embraced the call with passion, zeal, and a deep love for the presence of God. Under her leadership, women were taught to stand in prayer, intercede for their homes, and grow in intimacy with Christ.
After Prophetess Eady transitioned to heaven, the ministry entered a dormant season. Yet, even in that stillness, the seed of the vision remained. During the global crisis of COVID-19, the Lord stirred the heart of our leadership to revive this work and create a sacred space where women could gather in prayer, unity, and sisterhood once again.

“The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down,”
Strong Women in Christ became a place where women are reminded that, in Christ, they are builders—of homes, families, communities, and Kingdom purpose.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Strong Women in Christ is to encourage, inspire, and empower women and families through the love of God. We exist to:
Help women grow spiritually and stand strong in prayer
Support families through times of crisis, transition, and need
Show the love of Christ to seniors, the incarcerated, and those battling addiction
Provide spaces of healing, restoration, and hope
Every outreach, prayer, and program is designed to meet people where they are and lead them closer to Jesus.
How We Serve
Strong Women in Christ ministers to the whole person—spirit, soul, and body. Our work flows through several key areas:
Empowering Women in Christ
Through one-on-one mentorship, sister circles, support groups, and faith-building workshops, we help women grow in prayer, identity, and purpose.Supporting Families & Communities
We come alongside women, children, and seniors through charitable outreach, essentials support, community care, and elder visitation.Restoring Hope & Healing
We reach those facing addiction, incarceration, and life-altering challenges with Christ-centered encouragement, prayer, and restoration-focused support.
These ministry areas are carried out through programs such as women’s mentorship and empowerment, family support and outreach, elder care, chemical addiction recovery encouragement, prison ministry and reentry support, education and life skills, and ongoing prayer and spiritual development.
